Life lately 🏡 🔑

Welcome to the mortgage club love doing life with you and blessed to be by your side and this lovely little life we’re creating. My safe place when the world has gone mad.

It’s not everyday you get to meet the son of the Civil Rights movement.

It’s not in many people’s lifetimes or even an aspiration. For me, it was an opportunity I won’t soon forget. Getting to shake the hand of the legacy that is Civil Rights.

Martin Luther King Jr, his “I have a dream” speech shaped me in more ways than I can put into words. It’s positively shattered my world view and I believe it was this speech to call me to invest more deeply in human rights.

I’m not sure where the journey is going to take me, I’m not sure how I’m going to achieve inspiring hope, kindness and empathy back to the world. But I have to at least try.

I said to Mr King “It was your father who inspired me to under take my Masters in Human Rights which I start in two weeks”. I don’t think I got to thank him for continuing his father’s legacy and continuing to inspire.

I have a dream, not to be the next Martin Luther King Jr. or the next Nelson Mandela or Mother Teresa, but the First Tobiasz who helps bring hope, unity and love back into the world. I’m hoping you will come with me on this journey, because we can only do this type of work together.

Just 3 brown boys against rising fascism, racism, division, white supremacy, nationalism, patriotism…

We stand for inclusion, kindness, empathy, critical thinking, acceptance, unity, humankind, humanity and compassion and we’re kinda cute, no?

Always was, always will be feat.

Reminder of the day yesterday was not focusing too much on the racist noise and the negative rhetoric. I had to keep reminding myself to focus on my communities that are love, inclusion, safety, righteous, kindess, support and strength.

To all the allies for showing up yesterday. Thank you.

To the Mob - all the adversity we faced yesterday there was so many money so joy, connection and community that will ensure we prevail.

In other news, I’m a scholarship recipient for my Human Rights Masters that I will be commencing this year.

Grateful. Thank you universe and ancestors 🖤💛❤️✨
