We are already halfway through the term, and we have had lots of fun in the boarding house!
Some of the activities we enjoyed included a bonfire with music and marshmallows, Timezone, a table tennis competition, and a rewards trip to watch West Coast play Collingwood in the AFL.
We have also enjoyed going to the movies to see the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day, shopping trips, and community sport.
It has been a great term so far, with plenty more fun to come!

We were excited to welcome both our returning students and our new Discovery students over the past few weeks as we kicked off Term 3.
Our first weekend together was a relaxed and enjoyable one, with students gathering around the firepit to roast marshmallows, share stories, and enjoy each other's company. A special thank you to Zen’i, Gregory, and Jah’Keille, whose guitar playing provided the perfect soundtrack for the evening and made it a wonderful way to begin the new term.

We’ve had an action-packed term so far filled with a variety of exciting activities for our students to enjoy like: going to the Movies to see Michael Jackson, Timezone, Mini golf, AFL Games, Sun Corp Super Netball, Kings Park, Exploring Fremantle, WAFL game, Painting, Shopping days, Cooking, Music and in house Quiz nights. On Sunday evening we went to Collier Park to play mini-golf. Everyone enjoyed being out on the beautiful course as the sun was setting. There were lots of laughs and lots of scoop nets in the water. It was nice to spend time outdoors as we prepared for a wet week in Boorloo.

Last week, Rachael was able to take 10 students to watch the AFL game between West Coast Eagles and Richmond Tigers at Optus Stadium.
This is the beginning of a new incentive program to reward students who return on time at the start of term. Students who had returned on time each received a raffle ticket, and the students assisted in drawing out 10 lucky names.

Welcome to Term 2 2026.
Before we kick things off, we’d love to share some of the fantastic activities our students enjoyed in the final weeks of Term 1! From an American-themed dinner and line dancing to mini golf, a trip to Whiteman Park, a Family Feud quiz night, and a fun beach day — it was a memorable and action-packed finish to the term.
A big shout-out to our incredible staff who made all of these experiences possible.

We had a fantastic afternoon at the ice arena, with some of our students stepping onto the ice for the very first time! ⛸️

A big shout-out to our amazing staff member, Gabria, for organizing the session and helping our new skaters learn the basics and build their confidence. What a great experience for everyone involved!
