Over the past few weeks the children have been exploring the topic “All About My Family.” 🏡💛

Through creative experiences such as painting, collage, loose parts play and family tree activities, the children have been sharing who is special in their lives and what makes their families unique. These experiences encourage children to express themselves, develop a sense of identity and build an understanding that every family is different and special in its own way.

We loved seeing the children proudly talk about their families while creating their artwork. From handprint family trees to designing their own family homes, the children used their creativity, fine motor skills and imagination to represent the people who mean the most to them. 🎨

These activities also support important learning outcomes such as:
• Developing a strong sense of identity
• Building language and communication skills
• Strengthening fine motor development
• Encouraging social and emotional connections

It has been wonderful to see the children celebrate their families and learn more about each other. ❤️

KidsCare Pre-Kindy and OOSH

Over the last few weeks, we have been focusing on “All About Me.”

Our children have been exploring:

✨ The parts of their bodies and how they move
✨ Building confidence and independence
✨ Settling into Pre-Kindy and Kindy routines

Through conversations, creative experiences and play, the children are learning who they are, how they feel, and how they belong within our learning community.
