Excited to announce our next event, the 2026 Dads and Kids Climbing Event.

Join us at 3pm Sunday 30th August at Adrenaline Vault, Perth's largest indoor climbing centre, for a fun afternoon of climbing.

This event is suitable for climbers of all ages (5+), all experience levels (from beginners to advanced) and all fitness levels.

New comers will be welcomed with an induction on safe climbing and equipment use.

The cost is $25 per climber, which includes entry, a 2 hour session, induction and all relevant gear hire. Payment will be taken on the day.

Beautiful day for the inaugural Riverton Primary Dads Group's Dads & Kids Bike Ride.

A leisurely ride along Canning River, through the Canning River Regional Park from Lo Quay to Kent St Weir.

With a midway stop at the cafe with a play on the BMX pump track.

This one was a hit with young and all.

🚲 Dads & Kids Bike Ride: Pedal & Play 🚲

Calling all Riverton Primary Dads and legends!

It’s time to dust off the helmets, oil those chains, and get the kids outdoors for a classic afternoon on two wheels.

We’re hitting the scenic Canning River Regional Park bike paths for a relaxed ride, some playground fun, and a much-needed caffeine (or cake) hit.

Whether your kids are speed demons on mountain bikes or newer to 2 wheel action, this is all about getting together and enjoying the ride.

The Game Plan
🗓️ Saturday, 16th May 2026
⏰ 1-3pm
📍 Start Line: Lo Quay River Cafe.
Meet us on the grass nearby and be ready to roll at 1:15 PM sharp!
↔️ The Route:
A flat, easy-breezy cruise along the river from Lo Quay to the Kent Street Weir.

Why You Should Come Along
- The Ride: It’s one of the best paths in Perth—flat, safe, and away from main roads.
- The Pit Stop: We’ll be stopping at the Kent Street Weir, where the kids can go wild on the playground or the BMX track while we refuel.
- The Fuel: Whether you grab a drink at Lo Quay before we start or a coffee at the Weir, there are plenty of spots to refuel the tanks.
- The Crew: A great chance to catch up with other Riverton dads while the kids burn off that Saturday energy.

What to Bring
- Bikes (and helmets, obviously!).
- Water bottles.
- Sunscreen and hats.
- A bit of pocket money for the cafe.

Perfect conditions for a fun afternoon of water-based play.

From the ever popular slip n slide, to the giant water-spraying inflatable watermelon and cactus, multiple water refueling stations to keep everyone's water pistols topped up and the toilet-inspired dunk tank. Plus Mini's Soft Serve on hand to keep everyone cool with ice creams and snow cones.

There was something for all, big and small.

Special shout out to our event leader Bryan Lim and our volunteers for putting on a fantastic event.

Join us for the 2026 Dads & Kids Waterplay event. Our much loved annual event, now in it's 6th year.

A free, SunSmart waterplay event for fathers, or father figures, and their kids. BYO water pistols and sun protection.

Featuring a giant slip n slide, unlimited water pistol refills and water fun. This is an event not to be missed.
