Our Atelier is a dedicated space where children can explore their creativity, express their ideas and discover the world through art.

Here, there is no “right” way to create. Children are encouraged to experiment with colour, texture, light, materials and different artistic techniques - allowing their imagination and curiosity to lead the way. 🌈

Through open-ended experiences and thoughtfully curated materials, we invite children to become researchers, creators and storytellers. 🖌️✨

🎨🌿 Little Artists in Classroom 2! 🌿🎨

Today our Classroom 2 children were inspired by the beauty of nature as they explored lavender, natural materials, colours and creativity. 💜🌿

Through painting, colour mixing and sensory exploration, the children were encouraged to connect with the natural world while expressing their own creativity. 🖌️

I still remember when we first commenced your traineeship and you doubted yourself, wondering if you’d be able to finish and achieve your goals. But look at you now, you did it! You worked so hard for this moment and should be so proud of everything you’ve achieved.
Throughout your traineeship, you’ve shown so much determination, commitment and resilience. Juggling being a mum, working and studying is not easy, but you did it all and kept pushing through, even when things felt hard. That takes a lot of strength, and you should give yourself so much credit for that.
I’m so proud of you and I really hope you’re proud of yourself too, because this is such a huge achievement. You are not only an amazing educator, but such a strong lead as well. The love, care and passion you bring to the children and to your work shines through in everything you do, and it’s been so lovely to watch your growth throughout this journey.
Keep doing what you do best, keep believing in yourself, and never stop learning. You have so much to offer, and I know you’ll continue to do amazing things.

🌿 Classroom 5 – Bush Camp Café ☕

Welcome to our Bush Camp Café! Children explored imaginative role play using natural materials to create bush-inspired meals and drinks. Through this engaging experience, they developed communication, social skills, creativity, and early numeracy as they served customers, exchanged play money, and worked together.

Learning through play is always on the menu! 🍃✨

🐾 Classroom 2 – Wombat Stew Provocation 🖤💛❤️

As part of our NAIDOC Week learning, Classroom 2 explored Wombat Stew through a hands-on sensory provocation. Using natural materials, the children mixed, scooped and created their own "wombat stew," building imagination, language, fine motor skills and cooperative play while celebrating Australian wildlife and our connection to nature.

Our outdoor spaces have had a little makeover this week, and we couldn't be more excited to share the results with you! 💚

🚗 Our much-loved car has been beautifully restored and given a new coat of paint, ready for many more imaginative adventures, road trips, deliveries, and endless storytelling with the children. Big thanks to Nature Play Solutions

🌱 Fresh mulch has also been added throughout the yards, creating a refreshed and inviting environment for exploration, sensory play, and discovery. All thanks to Antree DNH PTY LTD
