More than just a carrot 🥕

Tall Tree Early Learning - Banksia Grove

One tiny seed, nurtured by worm tea, compost, rainwater and DIY mulch — all of our embedded sustainable practices working together.

One child proudly said, “We made a salad and didn’t even need to go to the shop!”

Our garden at Tall Tree Banksia Grove is now affectionately known as “The Garden Shop” — a name chosen by the children.

A sustainable Father’s Day gift 🌏💚

Atlantis Education Centre Ocean Keys took this experience one step further by using herbs grown in their very own garden. 🌿

The children were involved in the whole process — harvesting, washing and dehydrating their herbs, ready to add to this beautiful Father’s Day spice rub recipe.

And the sustainability didn’t stop with what was inside the bag.

🤎 Brown paper bags were chosen for packaging
🏷️ Paper labels were used — no laminating needed
🧵 Natural twine tied everything together
🌿 Fresh rosemary sprigs from the garden added the finishing touch

No plastic packaging. No laminating. No unnecessary waste.

Just a thoughtful, handmade Father’s Day gift that connects garden to table, while showing children that even the smallest choices can make a difference. 🌏
