Friendships forming, confidence growing, creativity blooming. Sometimes the best way to capture a week is simply to let the photos do the talking. Here is a little glimpse into all the wonderful moments that filled our days. The ones that make us so proud of every single child in our care.

This week, our Eco Warriors took time to slow down, look closer, and learn. As part of Reconciliation Week, the children explored a sensory tray filled with Australian animals, sparking conversations about culture, country, and the world we all share: kindness, respect, and Curiosity. These are not just values we talk about, they are things we practise every single day. Caring for each other and caring for country go hand in hand.

Gloomy skies outside. Pure sunshine inside. This week in Mindaleny brought cuddles, colour, and one very special storytime (featuring a little kangaroo and a room full of children with approximately one thousand questions). From tiny handprints on our community tree to a sensory tray full of Australian animals and wooden flowers, it has been a week of creating, exploring, and belonging together. We love this little community of ours.

Straight lines. Zig-zags. Curves. Waves. Our little ones followed pre-drawn paths and filled them with loose parts, craft materials, and a whole lot of imagination. Halfway through, they started finding their own resources from around the room, extending their own learning without being asked. That kind of curiosity and independence? That is everything.

A doctor's visit. A chocolate. And a room full of children hanging on every word. Our Mindaleny friends have found their voices this week, sharing stories, playing together, and building the kind of friendships that make childcare feel like home. We love watching them grow bolder, louder, and more themselves every single day.

Not everyone was sure about the worms at first, and that is perfectly okay. So we picked up the magnifying glasses, got a little closer, and let curiosity do the rest. Watching a child go from hesitant to completely fascinated, that is one of our favourite moments in early education. Our worm farm is helping little ones understand living things, recycling, and how we can all care for our environment together.

Slow down, look closer, wonder more. The Kara Room has been full of curiosity this week: exploring, touching, and discovering through beautiful sensory play experiences. With World Turtle Day just around the corner, our little ones have been getting to know some very special shelled friends too. Because the best way to teach children to care for the world is to help them fall in love with it first.

After a restful nap, two little ones woke up and found each other. No words needed. Just a hug. A week full of cutting, counting, singing, and discovering, and this is how it ends. With warmth, connection, and the reminder that at the heart of everything we do here is love. This is Budding Sproutz.
