A doctor's visit. A chocolate. And a room full of children hanging on every word. Our Mindaleny friends have found their voices this week, sharing stories, playing together, and building the kind of friendships that make childcare feel like home. We love watching them grow bolder, louder, and more themselves every single day.

Blue tape on the floor. Endless possibilities. Tiptoe along it. Jump over it. Follow it all the way to the end, then turn around and do it again. Something as simple as a line of tape turned into one of the most joyful, focused sessions of the week. Bodies moving. Minds working. Smiles everywhere. That is the whole idea.

Not everyone was sure about the worms at first, and that is perfectly okay. So we picked up the magnifying glasses, got a little closer, and let curiosity do the rest. Watching a child go from hesitant to completely fascinated, that is one of our favourite moments in early education. Our worm farm is helping little ones understand living things, recycling, and how we can all care for our environment together.

Slow down, look closer, wonder more. The Kara Room has been full of curiosity this week: exploring, touching, and discovering through beautiful sensory play experiences. With World Turtle Day just around the corner, our little ones have been getting to know some very special shelled friends too. Because the best way to teach children to care for the world is to help them fall in love with it first.

After a restful nap, two little ones woke up and found each other. No words needed. Just a hug. A week full of cutting, counting, singing, and discovering, and this is how it ends. With warmth, connection, and the reminder that at the heart of everything we do here is love. This is Budding Sproutz.

Each number named clearly, each piece placed with care, and a smile that grew bigger with every single one. Watching a child realise what they are capable of is one of the greatest privileges of this work. That confidence is not just about numbers. It will carry her everywhere. 💛

Little voices. One simple song. A moment we will not forget. The children gathered together and sang, holding on, swaying gently, completely lost in the joy of it. Music has a way of bringing children together that nothing else quite can. In that moment, there was confidence, friendship, and pure belonging. This is what community feels like at Budding Sproutz.

One of our little ones spent time carefully washing each dinosaur, handling them with such care and concentration that you would think they were very much alive. When a child finds something they love, learning follows naturally. We will keep following his lead. 🦕

While the room was quiet and her friends were resting, one little one decided it was the perfect time to practise. Scissors in hand, focused and determined: snipping away, one careful cut at a time. This is what self-motivation looks like at three years old. And it is absolutely beautiful. We could not be prouder. 💛

Petals, glitter, coloured water, and a whole lot of heart. Our children created their very own Mother's Day love potions: mixing, pouring, and dreaming up the most magical recipes. Between the droppers and the spoons, there were conversations about kindness, love, and the people who matter most. Some moments in childcare are just quietly, beautifully perfect. This was one of them.

A popsicle stick frame. A hand-drawn picture. And a little voice saying exactly what they love about their family. This activity was one of our favourites, because it was not just about making something beautiful. It was about finding the words for how they feel. The drawings inside those frames are worth more than anything.
