Had such a great time delivering our Multicultural LGBTIQA+ Training with the incredible team at

Together, we explored what it means to create culturally safe, inclusive and affirming environments for LGBTIQA+ young people from multicultural backgrounds because identity is never just one thing, and support shouldn’t be either.

From curious conversations to thoughtful reflections, it was clear just how committed this team is to showing up for their community in meaningful ways 🙌

A big thank you to headspace Mandurah for your openness, curiosity and genuine care.

🔥🌈 Big learning. Real conversations. Powerful connection. 🌈🔥

Last week we visted the Community and Population Health team at East Metropolitan Health Services to deliver training focused on building culturally safe and affirming healthcare for LGBTIQA+SB people.

Together, we worked through:
• Creating culturally safe and affirming environments in healthcare
• Understanding barriers to healthcare access
• Applying intersectionality in real world practice
• Responding to disclosures with care and confidence
• Practical ways to better support trans and gender diverse people

One of the most impactful parts of the day was hearing from one of our own, Ruby, an openly trans woman, who shared her lived experience navigating healthcare. Creating space for attendees to connect directly with her. To ask honest, respectful questions that led to some incredibly powerful learning.

This is at the heart of the work Let’s Q***r The Air does: combining practical, evidence informed training with meaningful connection to lived experience, so learning moves beyond theory and into genuine understanding.

The feedback we received was too good not to share! Have a look at some of the post session feedback responses we got 🙂‍↕️

Massive thank you to the Community and Population Health team at East Metropolitan Health Services for leaning in, asking thoughtful questions and committing to better outcomes for the community and colleagues alike 🌈💥

2025, what a year.

From boardrooms to bingo halls.
From policy tables to pride parades.
From quiet conversations to very loud moments of joy.
This year, we had the privilege of working alongside communities, councils, schools, corporates, creatives, and changemakers across Western Australia and beyond to do what we do best — create safer, braver, more inclusive spaces.

We delivered training and keynotes.
We co-designed frameworks and strategies.
We facilitated workshops, consultations, panels, and projects grounded in lived experience and evidence-based practice.

We celebrated q***rness, culture, creativity, and connection in all its forms.

None of this happens alone.

Thank you to every organisation that trusted us, every partner who collaborated with heart, every performer and facilitator who brought the magic, and every person who showed up open, curious, and willing to learn.

This work matters because people matter.
And we’re just getting started.

Here’s to 2026 and continuing to Q***r the air, thoughtfully, proudly, and unapologetically.

At Let’s Q***r The Air, Wear It Purple Day is close to our hearts.

Our CEO & Founder, Ashara Wills, shares why:

“Growing up, I thought being a le***an was shameful. I tried to fit into a mould that was never meant for me. Everyone saw me as the bubbly, happy go lucky person but inside, the struggle was real and often overwhelming. This lead to severe mental
health struggles. I was lost and couldn’t see a way through it.“

I Wear It Purple to show young people, families, carers, and everyone in between that support is here, that you are loved, valued, and can thrive by being your true self. Something I wish was visible to me when I was younger"

We’re not just wearing purple we’re working with workplaces and communities to create spaces where young people feel safe to be themselves. 🌈

🌈✨ A couple of weeks ago, Ashara Wills, our Founder & CEO, was invited to speak at Over The Rainbow Symposium held at

Ashara shared her story and experiences around intersectionality. Shining a light on how we can all think more deeply about it in our workplaces, communities, and individual lives.

She then joined an impressive panel of lived experience leaders, diving into the power of storytelling and how it can unlock closed doors, spark change, and create connections where they’re needed most.

We’re proud to see Ashara’s voice represented in these important conversations that move inclusion forward. 💛

Planning your Wear It Purple event? There’s still time but spots are filling fast! 💜

Let’s Q***r The Air offers something a little different something powerful, heartfelt and unforgettable.

One of our most-loved offerings is a keynote called “Between Love and Learning: A mother-daughter story of q***rness, culture and connection”.

Delivered by Ashara Wills and her Mum Prem, this storytelling session invites audiences into both sides of a coming out journey. It's raw, real and filled with love. It’s not often you get to hear both voices in the same room. That’s what makes this keynote so special.

Perfect for workplaces looking to go deeper than surface-level inclusion that sparks meaningful reflection among teams, parents, carers and allies.

🌈 When reached out to explore options for International Pride Month, it was clear they had already laid strong foundations for LGBTIQA+ inclusion and were ready to take things further 💡

Let’s Q***r The Air had the privilege of curating a powerful panel discussion featuring three incredible LGBTIQA+ speakers based in Boorloo (Perth), with our founder Ashara Wills moderating the conversation 🎤

The result? It wasn’t just an event it was a celebration of connection, laughter, learning, and q***r joy in full force 💖

Our speakers shared their stories with heart, humour, and honesty. The kind of storytelling that makes a lasting impact. Because when experiences are real and relatable, they create the kind of shift that policies alone can’t deliver 🗯️

A huge thank you to HBF Health and our brilliant panellists: and . You helped turn this vision into something truly meaningful 🙌🤍

📢 If your organisation is ready to move beyond performative gestures and into real, lived, experience-led impact we’d love to work with you.
