Everything is better with pickled cucumber. This was Thai flavoured free range spicy pork mince.

Yayyy fr the cooler weather! Sourdough gets rather tempremental with the heat fr me.
I use the Panasonic to do the dough in pizza dough setting then I do the rest manually.
Starter only no yeast. 80% hydration 20% starter mixed seed loaf.

First time making Opor Ayam. Indo chicken braised in light spices and coconut milk.
Ok, no Indo food is particularly simple to make a it requires quite a bit of ingredients, but this is one of the simpler ones and very child friendly. Not spicy at all, very fragrant and so good.
It may look like a curry but indos don't really cook curries, I guess fr me, the biggest difference is that it is milder in the spices and chillies but it is a lot more fragrant. Heart warming flavours.
I will add hard boiled eggs and tofu in this soon.

Light airy chewy chocolatey sourdough goodness. So much better than bought doughnuts.

Tempeh Mendoan. Simple, vegan and delicious. Was it easy to make? Not really 😂. I find Indonesian food is either really good or wierd. It's all in the balance of flavours, spice and herbs. If that is wrong, it won't taste right.

Been experimenting with spelt flour. It's a much harder dough to handle but the taste makes it more worthwhile plus it's gentler for the stomach and the sourdough starter adds probiotic with all those wonderful flavours. No sourdough bread will need sugar. The fermentation creates all the required flavour 💡👌.
