What an amazing day at Nido Bassendean!
Today we were lucky to have the Fire Emergency Service visit us — complete with their bright red fire truck that had all the children buzzing with excitement.

The firefighters from Fire Department Kiara spent the morning showing the children their equipment, answering curious questions, and even helping them practice holding the hose. The joy on their faces said it all.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Fire Department Kiara for giving our children such a memorable and educational experience. We appreciate you!

Kinder Curriculum Information Night

Come join us on Tuesday, 28th May, 5:30pm–6:30pm for an evening all about our Nido Kindergarten program!

We will be exploring the Kinder Curriculum through displays and experiences.

We welcome all families, both current and prospective, with children any ages.

This week, our team came together for something a little different — we painted our breathing. 🎨💨

Each brushstroke was inspired by the rhythm of our daily breath, a reminder of how we ground ourselves so that we can bring the best version of who we are into the room with the children.

Just as breathing helps us pause, reset, and find balance, our paintings became a visual expression of the calm, presence, and care we strive to model every day. 🌿💛

We left the meeting not only with artwork, but with a renewed sense of connection — to ourselves, to each other, and to the children we nurture.
