Lovely lunch at the Tafe in Bentley today .. great food and service. Some of the ladies went to the bakery and picked up some goodies as well. Good day out :) We also surprised Dora with a song and candle on her birthday. Feedback is yep we want to go again next year :)
Hi Ladies. What a great day it was yesterday at the Biggest Morning Tea. We raised $886 on the day which was fantastic. After some discussion, we decided that we could donate the other $114 from the Leisure Group funds to make it a $1000 donation to the Cancer Council. What a fantastic amount and thank you to everyone who donated to the cause. Thanks also has to go to all the ladies who made the morning tea extra special. I think we might do it again next year :)

Fantastic morning today at our Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer. Thank you to everyone who came along today and everyone that helped set up. We had Gary our speaker telling us his personal story and then Sally from the Cancer Council talking about skin cancer. We had a lovely Quilt as the door prize and lots of good raffle prizes. The tables looked great and the food was amazing - all in all a good day out. We raised $886 :) :)

The Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer Council is on next week. The details are below if anyone interested. We will do a few quizzes and enjoy our morning tea .. should be lovely morning .. the fundraising target is $500. The door prize will be the lovely quilt that Janet has donated and the raffles are good too :)

Perthonality John Rando came to Leisure Group today with his wife Di to talk about his life, his music and the 1% club and people brushing their teeth in the shower :) Interesting speaker and the lunch was good too :) Sorry no pics of June's delicious vanilla slice :)
