CSWA Sport, Fitness and Recreation Workforce Forum
We are bringing together industry, training and government organisations to facilitate conversations about the future of the sport, fitness and recreation workforce and explore practical steps needed to strengthen it.
This forum aims to identify what is needed to:
• influence future training and workforce investment
• strengthen and diversify pathways into the industry
• attract and retain a sustainable workforce
• support targeted, ongoing advocacy
• unlock collaboration across sectors, including health and community services
Through industry insights, case studies and interactive discussions, participants will identify current challenges and explore practical actions to support workforce development.
If you’re working in sport, fitness, recreation, training or workforce development, this is your opportunity to contribute to meaningful, sector-wide outcomes.

CSWA Sport, Fitness and Recreation Workforce Forum
Bringing together industry, training providers and government organisations to identify practical solutions to workforce challenges.
05/03/2026
Community Skills WA will soon be convening a Sport, Fitness and Recreation Workforce Forum to bring together industry, government and training stakeholders to discuss workforce challenges, skills needs and future opportunities across the sector.
We know many organisations are facing recruitment challenges, skills shortages and regional service gaps, and we want to hear directly from those working in the industry.
To help shape the forum and ensure the right issues are being discussed, we’re inviting people across the sector to complete a short 3 minute survey. Your input will help inform the key themes and conversations at the forum.

CSWA encourages everyone to take part in this valuable survey or share it.
If you are living in public and community housing, used to live in public and community housing or on the waitlist for public and community housing, Shelter WA would like to hear from you about how you manage to juggle work while keeping your home.
Your feedback will help us understand how eligibility limits in public and community housing might stop people from working or living their best lives. It can also help us to come up with suggestions on how we could make it easier for people to work without being afraid that they will lose their homes if they earn too much.
The survey is anonymous and should only take around 10-15 minutes.
Please share this information with anyone this survey relates to.

Sometimes the most important thing you can do is simply be there for someone. A little support can make a world of difference. Check in, listen, and let someone know you care.
