Perth Radio Electric Car Club (PRECC)

Hello everyone. It is with some sadness that I share with you that our arrangements with Carco have come to an end. Carco require the space for other business purposes so the PRECC track will be dismantled. Thankfully, DRC House will still continue to operate their drift racing on the opposite side.

I’d like to extend our gratitude to Daniel Davies at Carco for housing the Club for the last 4 years, your generosity is greatly appreciated and came at a time when the Club was basically on its knees. It gave us the opportunity to go racing again and become financial.

Going forward, we are unsure what the future of PRECC will be. We will make every effort to find a new home and go racing again but we have to realistic that this may not be viable. We are looking at all options and of course will let you know of any developments.

Personally, I look at our time at Carco with great satisfaction that we were able to continue as a Club. We made the move from our old space at Morley and got everything set up again with the help of literally 3 people.

Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to Dave Dewar. Always there, setting things up, keeping the Club running when at times no one would even show up. A true stalwart, you sir are a legend.

Hello Everyone, We will be Holding our Precc Club AGM on Wednesday 20th August, at 5:30pm at Carco, Midland, to Elect a New Committee, Cheers Dave.

Hi everyone. We will be open for on-road and off-road practice on Weds evening only from 5pm. $5 fee. More importantly though we now have an array of jumps for the off-road track. They are all very portable and offer heaps of different combinations. Come on down and check it out!

We are pleased to announce that our off-road track is nearing completion. The area has been extended from its original form to make it a bit bigger. The Astro is down and and the initial layout is formed. Just gotta add a few jumps and we are up and away!
