"Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind."
This classic line is from the Disney movie, Lilo and Stitch, but it reminds of the parable of the lost sheep.
"When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders and rejoices. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost." - Luke 15:5-6 NRSV
When we feel lonely, lost, or if we have strayed away from God in our spiritual life, the Father rescues us and makes sure nobody is left behind. We are all part of one family with God.

We are inspired by Ignatian Spirituality. Fr. James Martin, SJ suggests that Ignatian Spirituality can be defined as consisting of these 4 elements:
1. Finding God in all things
2. Becoming a contemplative in action
3. Looking at the world in an incarnational way
4. Seeking freedom and detachment

* We are contemplatives in action. *
* We are men and women for others.*
