What you can expect from a tutoring session with me ✨

🐛Thorough planning for each individual child with a core focus for every lesson to scaffold learning with fun and authentic learning opportunities
🐛Weekly evaluations of each lesson for forward planning of the individual child and for teaching reflection

This is a little look into what my nights look like- and this doesn’t include the laminating and cutting that takes up all my spare time 😅😅I actually LOVE planning! I have created positive relationships with all my students and put my heart and soul into creating resources that I hope they will love! And trust me, they are my harshest critics and will tell me if something is boring, so I aim to please 🤣
Planning allows me to share my creative side with my students. I want nothing but the best for them. I want them to have fun without realising they are even learning at all!

Annnnnnd the voted winner for this week’s favourite resource is the fishing game! I use this resource for a variety of years and a range of focus areas! So far, we have been using it to practice sight words, addition and place value for years Preprimary through to year 2. Such an awesome tool for motivating students and keeping them engaged in their learning! Best tweaked Kmart purchase ever 🥰💕😍

I promised I would show how Cindy has helped out our tutoring sessions so far, and here it is! (Sorry for the delay our house has been infected with gastro! 😭)

Cindy’s snake skin was more of a gift to my insanely cool student as she loves snakes as much as I do! BUT, our next session we could use Cindy’s skin for learning purposes such as measurement, journal writing, reading about other reptiles and why they shed their skin and so much more!

GET TO KNOW ME 🐍

This is my girl Cindy 💚🖤 she is my pet Stimson python who I am totally obsessed with! I have had her since I was 12 and always had a fascination with snakes! Today we are out the back soaking up the beautiful sun and celebrating all of this week’s planning being complete!

Cindy helps out with some of our activities, that is if you are also a lover of snakes and feel comfortable! Stay tuned to see how… 🥰🐍
