One of the biggest myths in mining is that you're too old to start. We see people talk themselves out of opportunities every day because they think they've missed their chance. The reality? Your life experience, work ethic, reliability, and ability to communicate are often worth more than you realise. We've seen school leavers get hired. We've also seen parents, grandparents, and career changers successfully make the move into mining. The question isn't whether you're too old. The question is whether you're willing to take the first step.
Loader is one step above the easy entry level machines such as roller, Watercart, moxy.
It’s more more complex, it requires higher skill level, and for the candidate to be able to manage a work area and potentially other operators such as trucks, I requires forsight. As a result of this, the pay rate is also higher.
So if you can master a loader aswell as having all the entry level machinery, you will be employed over those with only Watercart, roller, moxy, because you are more versatile.
This is not for everyone, but It gives you more opportunities on site… and a better chance of getting hired.
Perth best training company with most seat time on the market, return for free to get that much needed experience, no one wants to give you.
This isn’t new. We’ve helped thousands of people with zero experience step into mining, civil, and FIFO roles. And the reason it works isn’t luck — it’s how the training is structured. No groups. No waiting around for your turn. Just you, the machine, and proper one-to-one guidance. Unlimited time to come back and build your experience. And training that actually happens in real conditions — not a simulated environment. That’s what prepares people properly. We’ve seen it time and time again — people go from having no idea where to start, to being job-ready in a matter of weeks. Not because it’s easy. But because it’s done the right way.

The mining industry doesn’t owe anyone a job.
The people getting hired are the ones who can actually operate, communicate properly, and back themselves on site.
That confidence doesn’t come from collecting tickets.
It comes from real training, real seat time, and actually putting the work in.
I didn’t just want tickets… I wanted to actually know how to operate.
Most training gives you 45 minutes… we give you 4 hours.
No experience? No one giving you a go? There’s a way around it. Build your experience first… then get the job.
How to make sure you get employed over everyone else. Get trained at a credible provider. Do your research — how long do you actually get on the seat? How many people are sharing that machine? Not all training is equal and employers already know the difference. Get experience. There is only one place to get this and that's back in the seat after you're deemed competent. A ticket without hours behind it is just a piece of paper. Don't slow yourself down. A car licence is the bare minimum. It reduces your chances before you've even started. Experience increases them. Tickets alone won't get you there. Experience is what separates you from everyone else sending in the same resume. Do it once. Do it right. Then keep showing up until the phone rings.
