❤️We loved listening to our favorite songs while painting these beautiful flowers. They studied the shapes, colors, and features, then created their own masterpieces.🥰🎨

🏠What a beautiful start to the week! One of our lovely mums brought in some special treats for us and the kids, and we are so spoiled. We're all looking forward to afternoon tea together.💕😍
Who knew a swing and some sand could spark so much wonder? ✨🌿
☀️This morning at the park, the children began sprinkling sand onto the swing before using their hands to push and bounce the seat. With every movement, clouds of sand scattered through the air.
Again and again, they experimented, observed, predicted, and discovered — completely immersed in the magic of their own exploration.
No instructions, no expectations… just curious little minds learning through play. 💛
Sometimes the simplest moments hold the richest learning. Watching children slow down, notice details, test ideas, and delight in discovery is such a beautiful reminder that learning happens everywhere, at their own pace and in their own unique way.

❤️Since Chinese New Year, our group has fallen in love with lion dance! What started as listening to the music quickly turned into months of dancing, drumming, and bringing the lion to life.
🦁Now it’s one of the highlights of our day — once the music starts, everyone springs into action, grabbing the lion head, setting up the drums, and bursting into their own energetic lion dance.💃
Cultural awareness is a one of the key focus in our daily program, introducing children to Chinese traditions and festivals in meaningful ways.

Lately we’ve been loving these magnetic people and tiles so much—so many ways to build, create, and imagine.
It’s beautiful watching them play, while all of the below were happening… without them even noticing! 🤭😎
💕Social skills – taking turns, sharing pieces, communicating ideas
💕Collaboration – building together, negotiating roles, working as a team
💕Problem-solving – figuring out how to balance, connect, and fix structures
💕Creativity & imagination – designing their own patterns and creations
💕Fine motor skills – placing and connecting small pieces with control
💕Spatial awareness – understanding shapes, position, and how things fit
💕Patience & persistence – trying again when things fall apart
💕Confidence – feeling proud of what they’ve built and achieved
We also had fun trying out the tradition of preparing lucky red pockets.🧧 Everyone was excited to pop money inside, and we practiced reading the numbers on the coins and notes along the way. Mr. M proudly announced that his red pocket had a $50 AND a $100 in it — wow, so lucky!
🍀 🤣 Once they were done, the children happily handed their red pockets to their friends with big smiles, saying “Happy New Year!” 🥰

We got creative using black paint and Chinese New Year stencils to make our very own “red banners”.🎨 The children chose the stencil and carefully dab-dab-dabbed the sponge all over it. When the paint dried, the big reveal was full of excitement — everyone couldn’t wait to see their beautiful creations come to life!❤️
✨ They were so proud to take their special artwork home to hang on the wall — a lucky blessing they made themselves for the new year ahead! 🧧
Next, we explored the Chinese zodiac chart 🐉 and had so much fun discovering all 12 animals! We learned that everyone has their own special animal based on the year they were born. The children were super excited to find their own signs — and even more amazed to discover their mum and dad’s zodiac animals too! 🐯🐰 There was lots of giggling and chatter as they proudly talked about “their” animals all day long. 🥰

❤️We’ve been having so much fun celebrating Chinese New Year this week! 🧧 We kicked things off with festive stories about the holiday, then gathered with our friends for a delicious dim sum feast — the tastiest way to celebrate 🥳
Even better, our chopstick skills are getting stronger by the day… no dumpling is safe now! 🥢🥟
