Our wonderful Year 4 students had a fabulous time participating in the 24:7 Ministry Communion Retreat a few weeks ago, as they prepare for their First Holy Communion β
The retreat was a meaningful opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of this special sacrament through prayer, discussion and engaging hands on activities. This experience really supported and nurtured their faith journey.
We wish our Year 4 students every blessing as they look forward to celebrating their First Holy Communion this Sunday! β

All In for National Reconciliation Week 2026
The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.
All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.
The theme also reminds us that reconciliation and advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoplesβ rights isnβt a passive activity, and it is not solely the responsibility of First Nations people, who have carried the weight of championing, explaining and acting for far too long.
Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

What a fantastic day at the Inter-School Cross Country Carnival last Friday! We are incredibly proud of all of our Year 3β6 students who represented Christ the King School with determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day.
A huge congratulations to all of our students for their amazing efforts on the course and an extra special celebration to our school for taking home the Overall Shield! π What an incredible achievement!
Thank you to our Phys Ed teachers Ms McLinden and Miss King for preparing our students ahead of the race, Mr Geaney and Miss Williams for assisting on the day and the parents and families who came to cheer and support our students along the sideline!

Yesterday, our amazing Kindy classes enjoyed their Boogie Bounce incursion in the school hall!
This incursion gave the children a fun, high energy experience on mini trampolines with music and movement. It helped develop balance, coordination and core strength while supporting listening skills and following instructions in a group setting.
Most importantly, it was an engaging way to keep children active, confident and excited about exercise through play!
Way to go Kindy! π

ππ½ββοΈ CROSS COUNTRY ππ½ββοΈββ‘οΈ
Rain, smiles, and plenty of school spirit made for an unforgettable day at the CTK Cross Country on Thursday 15 May!
A huge thank you to Mr Dom for transforming the school grounds with colourful bunting, flags and balloons, creating such a fun and vibrant atmosphere for our students and families.
With the course extending around the perimeter streets, weβre so grateful to our amazing parent volunteers and staff who helped marshal the course, keep students safe, record results, and cheer everyone on throughout the day. Special mention to Mrs Wright for taking over the microphone duties and keeping the energy high!
Congratulations to McTavish for taking out the overall win, finishing 50 points ahead of De Vialar, with Donovan and Milne rounding out the placings!
Most importantly, the day was filled with encouragement, friendship and outstanding sportsmanship, with students making sure no runner crossed the finish line alone β€οΈ
