🕰️📚 A day in the past at the Year 2 Excursion! 📚🕰️
Our Year 2 students stepped back in time during their visit to Buckingham House, Wanneroo as part of their HASS History learning! Through the Buckingham House Heritage Program, students explored what life was like for early settlers in Wanneroo—visiting a former dairy farm, an early settler’s cottage and even an old schoolhouse.
To bring history to life, students dressed in olden-day clothing and fully immersed themselves in the experience. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, imagine and connect with the past! What a fantastic day of hands-on history and fun!

🏐💛 Year 5/6 West Coast Fever Netball Carnival 💛🏐
What an incredible day at the West Coast Fever Netball Carnival! We took 44 Year 5/6 students, forming 5 mixed teams, and they represented our school with such enthusiasm, teamwork and skill. Across 5 games, our students played so well and made the most of the beautiful sunny day!
A real highlight was the opportunity to watch the West Coast Fever team training in between our games – such an inspiring experience for our young netballers.
A huge thank you to our wonderful parent helpers Mrs Harding and Mrs Dayman, and to our teachers Mrs Bubnich, Mrs Wardrope and Mrs Eccles, for coaching and supporting the teams throughout the day. Thank you also to Mr Baker for attending and supporting the students, and to all the parents who came along to cheer on PCPS. And a very special thank you to Miss Altham for organising such an awesome event!

💖 Mother’s Day Magic at Our School 💖
What a beautiful morning celebrating our amazing mums last Friday! Our whole school came together to enjoy a special Mother’s Day breakfast, sharing yummy breaky rolls and time together before welcoming their mums into the classroom to present their handmade gifts – created with so much love and care.
We were then treated to a lovely assembly by our Pre‑Primary students, filling the room with smiles, songs and heartfelt gratitude of their queens!
Our Kindy mums were spoilt with a special Pamper Day, as the Kindy children delighted in styling their mums’ hair, painting their nails and doing their makeup! 💕
We thank God for the gift of our mothers and the special women in our lives, and pray they felt truly loved and appreciated 🌸

🙏 Seder Meal at School Today 🙏
Today, the children in Year 6 took part in a special Seder Meal experience. This was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about the traditions, symbols, and stories connected to Passover in an engaging, age‑appropriate way.
They explored the meaning behind each item on the Seder plate, listened to the story of the Exodus, and reflected on themes like freedom, gratitude, and community. The focus was on understanding and appreciating cultural and religious traditions in a respectful, inclusive environment.
We hope this experience sparks great conversations at home and gives your child a deeper sense of connection to the diverse world around them.
