Our 2-weeks Flashcard Challenge wrapped up in early November, and we’re excited to finally share a little highlight of everyone who made it onto the leaderboard! 🎉

This challenge was all about improving note-reading, building confidence, and having fun. Getting under 1 minute is a big milestone, so keep practicing and keep pushing!

The course is designed to give complete beginners (or beginners with little knowledge) the full toolbox you need: understanding music notes, finding keys confidently, building foundational & technical skills.

✨ Officially Introducing Piano Way 🎹✨
4 months ago, we sat down and thought long and hard about this name. Piano Way represents more than just a rebrand. It’s a new chapter, and a renewed sense of purpose. And honestly I feel a little relieved.

When I first started this studio, I never imagined it would grow into such a beautiful community of students, families, and teachers. For years, I’ve held the entire studio together, every class, every message, every parent, every late-night admin task, all while trying to give my best to every single student.

But as we grew, I realised I couldn’t keep doing it all. To tell you the extent of it, people would message me on my personal Instagram, and when I didn’t reply, they’d send hurtful messages. One even said, “You didn’t reply to my DM, but now you’re messaging me to ask for piano lessons, gross.” (PS This same person registered their details through our studio website expressing his interest in piano classes hence we followed up and received this message back).

Moments like that reminded me that sometimes, people forget that Ally is a human too, one with finite time, energy, and emotions.

That’s why this transition means so much. Piano Way isn’t just a new name. It’s a stronger, more sustainable foundation. With our admin onboard and an amazing team of teachers, every student and parent is now cared for with even greater attention. It’s no longer one person holding everything together. (I’m still learning)

Every student’s experience stays the same, in fact, now I can truly curate every student’s experience. Our teachers share the same passion, patience, and purpose that have guided the studio from day one.

We’re not a general music school; we live and breathe piano, taught with heart, psychology, and purpose.

This new chapter also means exciting things ahead! It’s just the beginning of something really special 💖 To everyone who’s supported me and believed in this dream, thank you. Your patience, trust, and kindness mean the world.
