🌻 Happy Early Childhood Educators’ Day! 🌻

Today we celebrate the wonderful educators across our services and recognise the incredible work they do each and every day. πŸ’›

Our educators bring so much care, dedication and commitment to supporting every child to feel safe, valued and supported as they learn, grow and explore.

From the big milestones to the little everyday moments, our educators are there encouraging, nurturing, teaching and celebrating alongside our children and families. 🌈

We are incredibly grateful for the passion and hard work our educators bring to their roles and the positive difference they make in the lives of children.

Please join us in saying a big THANK YOU to our amazing educators! πŸ’πŸ’›

🌱 WE’RE LOOKING FOR PLASTIC MILK BOTTLES! πŸ’§πŸŒΏ

We’re calling on our wonderful families and the Perenjori community! If you have clean, empty plastic milk bottles at home, we would love for you to donate them to our childcare service.

The children are starting an exciting plant nursery project, where we will grow and care for plants before transferring them into our garden beds. As part of our sustainability learning, we’ll be repurposing the milk bottles to create rainwater catchers so we can collect and save water for our plants to use when it doesn’t rain.

Once our plants are ready, they will be transferred into our upcycled tyre garden beds, made possible through the generous donation of used tyres from Rodney at the local Perenjori Tyre Shop.

This project gives children hands-on opportunities to learn about water conservation, recycling, gardening, caring for living things and sustainable practices, while showing them how our community can work together to care for our environment.

If you have any clean, empty plastic milk bottles that you no longer need, please bring them along to the service. Every bottle can help us grow something!

Thank you to our families and the Perenjori community for supporting our children’s learning and sustainability journey!

πŸ’› Quality Area 5 – Relationships with Children πŸ’›

At REED Perenjori, we place strong, respectful relationships at the heart of everything we do.

Our educators build warm, consistent connections with children through everyday interactions that are responsive, caring, and intentional. We take the time to listen, engage, and support each child so they feel safe, valued, and a true sense of belonging.

Through these relationships, children are supported to grow in confidence, independence, and wellbeing.
