A big day for our smallest athletes!

We were so proud of our Prep to Year 2 students, who participated in their athletics carnival this week. It was extra special to see so many parents and grandparents in attendance to cheer them on!

Also a massive thank you to our Year 6 Leaders and Senior House Captains who supported the young ones. You were fabulous coaches, cheerleaders and role models!

We are proud to co-launch in partnership with the Australian Wearable Art Festival Australia's first national Wearable Art Student Showcase for 2027.

In a landmark partnership with the Australian Wearable Art Festival, St Andrew's is helping open the door for secondary students across Australia to exhibit original wearable artworks at a nationally recognised event in 2027 — cementing the College's position as a leader in authentic arts education.

Celebrating creativity, perspective and the power of light. ✨��Congratulations to all students who participated in the 2026 St Andrew’s Anglican College Photography Competition.��From Prep to Year 12, students responded to this year’s theme, ‘Light’, producing a stunning collection of images that showcased technical skill, creativity and unique ways of seeing the world around us.��It was wonderful to celebrate our talented photographers at the Awards Night and exhibition, surrounded by family, friends and members of our College community.��A special thank you to our event sponsor, the Peregian Beach Hotel for supporting this year’s competition and helping us recognise and celebrate student achievement in the arts.

How good was the Primary Athletics Carnival last week!

We watched all our students striving to achieve their best across several disciplines including high jump, shot put, discus, long jump and a range of running distances. The best part was seeing how our students turned up for their mates with encouragement and enthusiasm. Thank you to everyone who helped the day run smoothly. Well done all!

St Andrew’s Anglican College has once again been recognised on the national stage, being named an Excellence Awardee in two categories at the 2026 Australian Education Awards

College Principal Karen Gorrie said the recognition affirms what the St Andrew’s community works toward every day.

"What truly defines this community is the breadth of what our students achieve. Behind every result is a student whose story is entirely their own. Strong ATAR results, VET pathways, international competition wins - what moves me is that St Andrew's can celebrate all of it. That full picture is what St Andrew's is all about and what we work toward every day," she said.
