How good was the Primary Athletics Carnival last week!
We watched all our students striving to achieve their best across several disciplines including high jump, shot put, discus, long jump and a range of running distances. The best part was seeing how our students turned up for their mates with encouragement and enthusiasm. Thank you to everyone who helped the day run smoothly. Well done all!

St Andrew’s Anglican College has once again been recognised on the national stage, being named an Excellence Awardee in two categories at the 2026 Australian Education Awards
⭐ Best Use of Technology
⭐ Regional School of the Year
College Principal Karen Gorrie said the recognition affirms what the St Andrew’s community works toward every day.
"What truly defines this community is the breadth of what our students achieve. Behind every result is a student whose story is entirely their own. Strong ATAR results, VET pathways, international competition wins - what moves me is that St Andrew's can celebrate all of it. That full picture is what St Andrew's is all about and what we work toward every day," she said.

What a fantastic day we had at the St Andrew’s Golf Day.
A few showers weren’t enough to dampen spirits, with players enjoying a fantastic day playing 18 holes at the Noosa Springs Golf Resort, sharing plenty of laughs and friendly competition along the way. The fun continued into the evening with dinner and a lively auction, where some incredible items were hotly contested thanks to the generous support of Noosa Watersports and Noosa Bluewater Charters
While nobody managed to drive away with the Noosa Toyota Prado for a hole-in-one, plenty of enjoyment was had, giving it a crack.
A huge thank you to everyone who played, supported, donated and helped make the day such a success as one of our major fundraising events for the year. We’re already looking forward to next year! ⛳️

Live @ The Hub was everything we hoped it would be - and more. Our College library was transformed into an intimate music venue, alive with the sound of student performances that were bold, refined and genuinely captivating.
Watching our students share the stage with Brisbane’s own View was a highlight; a beautiful collision of emerging talent and seasoned artistry. And their exclusive closing set was a perfect end to complete the evening.
Thank you to everyone who came, listened, and made the room feel like exactly what it was - a community celebrating music together. 🎶

Shout out to our Outdoor Movie Night sponsor White's IGA Peregian Beach.
The support from these community-first legends helped our students raise $910 towards their upcoming service trip to Cambodia - where they will be working with local families, building homes for displaced Cambodian families.

Our Year 7 students recently returned from three memorable days of Outdoor Education just outside of Kenilworth, marking the first time St Andrew’s Anglican College has partnered with outdoor education specialists Adventure Alternatives.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, students immersed themselves in a wide range of activities including mountain biking, archery tag, hiking, bird box building, billycart and raft construction as well as team-based challenges. Each experience is design to encourage students to step beyond their comfort zones, collaborate with peers and discover new strengths.

As we wrap up 2025, we’re celebrating a year filled with growth, connection and exciting change across our College community.
This year marked the beginning of a new era at St Andrew’s with the arrival of our new College Principal, Ms Karen Gorrie. Her energy, vision and heart for our students have already made a wonderful impact, and we’re excited for the journey ahead together.
Our students have achieved incredible things—on the stage, on the sporting field, in classrooms, in service, and in all the moments in between. We are so proud of their courage, creativity and character.
2025 also saw major progress in shaping the future of our campus. Construction began on our new Performing Arts Centre and Administration Buildings, with walls going up and the vision starting to come to life. These spaces, set to open in 2026, will create even more opportunities for our young people to learn, perform and thrive.
As you watch our 2025 Year in Review, we hope it brings a smile, a few proud moments, and a whole lot of excitement for what’s ahead.
Thank you to our amazing students, families, staff and community for making this such a special year. Here’s to a joyful Christmas season and a bright, inspiring 2026!
