This week the children have loved dressing up for book week. We have read lots of books and the children have retold books to each other.
What a wonderful week to encourage Early literacy skills!

NAIDOC week: 3/7/22- 10/7/22
This week the children are celebrating NAIDOC week by doing some activities such as painting cardboard boomerangs and didgeridoos, doing Aboriginal animal puzzles, looking at and listening to dream time stories and books, playing Aboriginal art memory games, collaging flags and listening to Aboriginal music. This is a great way to teach the children about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Happy Earth Day!
The children loved planting seeds this morning. This was a great science activity and created a wonderful opportunity to talk about what plants need to grow: soil, water and sunshine.

Wishing all my Daycare families and friends a "Happy Easter"!

Over the past few weeks the children have enjoyed doing some Easter learning activities such as painting and decorating wooden Easter bunnies, painting and decorating Easter baskets, looking at Easter books, stencil painting and painting Chicken eggs. They also love to play "find the plastic eggs around the backyard"!
