🌱 Growing, Learning & Getting Our Hands Dirty! 🌱

Our Kindy children have been enjoying spending time in the garden, discovering the joy of growing, nurturing and caring for plants.

From planting seeds and watering our garden to watching little shoots emerge, the children are learning that our garden is a place to grow curiosity, connection and a love for the natural world 🌏🪴

🚒👩‍🚒 Community Helpers in Action! 👨‍🚒🚒

We were incredibly fortunate to welcome the wonderful team from the Coolum beach fire department who shared their knowledge, equipment and experiences with our curious little learners.

There were plenty of excited faces as the children explored the fire truck, asked questions, and even had the opportunity to use some of the special equipment up close.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing firefighters from Coolum for taking the time to inspire our children and make learning so memorable. 🚒

🩷 Our beautiful Director is taking the plunge (Quite literally) to raise money for the McGrath Cancer Care nursers to ensure they can continue to help individuals and their families affected by cancer.
Every Donation makes a difference 🩷

🌿 This term, our Kindy children have been venturing beyond the classroom walls to explore the incredible natural environment surrounding our service.

Each week, our Bush Kindy adventures are met with excitement as children immerse themselves in nature, getting messy and sparking their creativity through hands-on exploration. 🌿

✨ As little hands came together, we discovered that the strongest connections aren't always the ones we can see. Inspired by The Invisible String, we imagined shimmering strings of love, kindness and friendship stretching from one heart to another 💛 ✨

🧪✨ Potion Making✨🧪

Today our little learners stepped into a world of wonder as they became potion makers! Using food colouring, herbs, flowers, water, and a sprinkle of imagination, the children created their very own magical mixtures.

Potion making is so much more than imaginative play. It encourages creativity, problem-solving, language development, and early scientific thinking as children observe, mix, experiment, and share their ideas with friends.

We proudly celebrate NAIDOC Week— Through storytelling, art, music, nature play and meaningful conversations, our children are exploring the importance of connection to Country, community and culture.

As we celebrate this year's NAIDOC Week, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn and play. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

As we continue our journey together, we remain committed to learning, listening and walking alongside one another with respect, understanding and care.

Peregian Beach College Early Learning Centre is licenced for 34 places across two rooms and benefit greatly from each room being lead by a qualified teacher. We run Pre-Kindy and Kindy programs and we are surrounded by a beautiful bushland environment. www.pbcelc.com.au
