🏎️ Mario Kart Competition! 🏁

Today, our students competed in an exciting Mario Kart competition, with a fantastic turnout from both players and supporters! It was wonderful to see so much encouragement, enthusiasm and great sportsmanship throughout the event.

Congratulations to our winners, who each received some fantastic prizes:

🥇 1st Place – Koa
🥈 2nd Place – Benjamin
🥉 3rd Place – Rocky

Well done to everyone who participated and helped make the competition such a fun and successful event!

🎮 Next up is our Rocket League competition next week—we can’t wait for another exciting lunchtime of gaming, friendly competition and plenty of support!

🧑‍🍳 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – FATHER’S DAY BREAKFAST! 🥓🍳

We’re looking for a few wonderful volunteers to help us cook and serve breakfast tomorrow morning from 7:00am as we celebrate the amazing dads and father figures in our PBC community. 💙

Throughout August, our PBC Skip Stars took on the Jeans for Genes 100 Skips a Day Challenge, and thanks to the incredible support of our College community, we raised an amazing $2,042! 🎉

Every skip, every donation and every word of encouragement helped support vital research for children and families living with genetic conditions.

We are so grateful to everyone who got behind our team and helped us contribute to such a worthwhile cause. 💙

$2,042 raised. 100 skips a day. One amazing community.

💙 Father’s Day Breakfast at PBC 💙

Join us as we celebrate the amazing dads, grandfathers and father figures in our PBC community!

📍 Outside the Year 1 classroom

Enjoy bacon & egg rolls, pretzels and fruit cups for $5 each, plus tea, coffee and juice.

All students and family members are welcome. Students will attend Homeroom and classes as normal.

📚✨ It might be Book Week … but apparently we still have jobs to do! 😂

Costumes on, characters activated, and somehow the work still needs to get done. Who knew being a book character didn’t come with the day off? 🤷‍♀️📖

💙 Nearly there, Skip Stars! 💙

Throughout August, our Peregian Beach College Skip Stars staff team has been taking on the 100 Skips a Day Challenge for Jeans for Genes, raising funds to support children living with genetic diseases.

As we head into the final days of our skipping journey, we’re incredibly proud of the commitment, laughs and determination our team has shown along the way! 🪢👏

🎭🌟 **Primary School Talent Show** 🌟🎭

What a fantastic afternoon in the Kelly Library yesterday for our **Primary School Talent Show!**

A huge congratulations to **all of our students who took to the stage** and shared their talents with such confidence and enthusiasm. From music and performance to plenty of creativity, it was wonderful to see our students shine! 👏

Special congratulations to our **overall winners, Lenny and Jude**, who wowed the audience with their very entertaining **Science Magic Show**! 🧪✨

It was also fantastic to see so many parents and family members there to support our performers. The quality and confidence on display was a wonderful reflection of the difference our **music lessons and Performing Arts programs** are making for our students.

Well done to everyone involved — what a talented bunch! 💙🎶✨
