As well as tutoring, I have also worked in youth work, completed an undergraduate degree in science and embarked on a trip around the world. Not only can I ensure that your student progresses into higher academic bands, I also offer something of great importance that is often overlooked during the formative years of high school – life experience. I believe that providing life experience and relating these experiences back into a student's study creates a more productive relationship and assists students in tackling other important life decisions such as:
• Choosing electives and subjects based on their strengths and weaknesses at school.
• Useful extracurricular activities to undertake.
• Time management and school/life balance.
• University degree and other tertiary qualifications to aspire to. Where do you want your student to be academically? I will get them there. What decisions are they having trouble with? I can provide guidance and direction. I am based in the Penrith/Blue Mountains area, I am happy to come to you or we can meet at Penrith City Library. I can tutor during the day during free periods, but am readily available from 3-8pm Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays. I can also tutor Saturday mornings if required. Price per student is $50 per hour at the library or $55 for in-home service. Multiple student discounts apply (max of 4 students).
