Today our two debating teams competed in the first round of the Premierβs Debating Challenge.
Our Red team argued in the affirmative that βPrimary schools should have a four-day weekβ. Our Blue team argued for the negative that βAll homework and assignments should be group workβ.
Our Red team walked away with a win and our Blue team walked away with a loss against Cambridge Gardens Public School. Both teams represented our school proudly with their well-constructed arguments and fantastic public speaking skills!

Six students from our Inclusive Education classes proudly represented our school at the NSW School Sport Unit Boccia competition this week. Boccia is an inclusive precision ball sport that focuses on strategy, teamwork and accuracy, giving students of all abilities the opportunity to compete and shine.
Our students showed incredible sportsmanship and school pride, finishing an amazing 3rd place out of 17 schools and only losing two games all day!
A big shout out to Mr Martello for his organisation, support and encouragement in making this opportunity possible for our students.
