Congratulations to our Stage 1, Stage 2 & Stage 3 Dance Groups, our School Choir and our School Band on successfully auditioning for the upcoming Limelight Performing Arts Showcase. We have approximately 110 students performing with a featured vocalist Skye and Saxophone solo by Elsie. York Public School performs on Wednesday 12 August at Evan Theatre, PANTHERS. Tickets go on sale on Monday 20 July at 9:00am - reminder message with ticket sales link will be sent to parents via Sentral that morning. AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT YORK!

📣 Student Shout Out ⚽️

Recently, our talented student Grace from Year 5 proudly represented the Penrith Zone Soccer team at the Sydney West tournament. Grace had an outstanding carnival and was rewarded with selection in the Sydney West team!

Playing predominantly at centre back and centre midfield, Grace was heavily involved throughout the day, spending plenty of time on the ball and making a significant impact for her team. Her skill, composure, and strong performances across the carnival impressed selectors and earned her a place in the representative squad. She’ll now compete at the NSWPSSA championships.

We are incredibly proud of Grace and wish her all the best as she continues her representative soccer journey!

Thank you to 5D for their entertaining “We’re All in This Together” dance performance. Congratulations to our Top Kid, Merit Award, P-Plate, Pen Licence and Assistant Principal recipients. A big well done to 6L for being the ‘Best Class at Assembly’.
