: Congratulations to our alum Fabi Fugazza on her latest publication - Born to be (Unconsciously) Biased - Strategies to Unbias Your Business Decision Making"! 👏

Fabi completed a double degree, attaining a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Western Sydney University. Her book delves into how unconscious biases influence decision-making and provides practical strategies to minimise bias and optimise organisational outcomes. Ranking #1, the book became an Amazon best seller across two categories.

Western’s Vice-Chancellor and President, Distinguished Professor George Williams AO, is trading boardrooms for classrooms this year 📚

Just eight months into his appointment, and he’s teaching our Justice Clinic - where students tackle real-world law cases - and next semester, he’ll jump into our government public law course (yes, the one he literally wrote the textbook for).

: Congratulations to our alum, His Honour Magistrate Imad Abdul-Karim, on his appointment as a judge of the NSW District Court 👏

Magistrate Abdul-Karim completed a Bachelor of Laws from Western Sydney University in 1998 and in 2019, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Laws in recognition of his contributions to the legal profession. ⭐
