We are excited to share this wonderful opportunity for families to connect with and celebrate Kaurna language and culture through play.

Led by Warra Wangkatitya, and proudly supported by the City of Charles Sturt and Playgroup SA, Warra Pudna (meaning Language Spring in Kaurna) is an immersive language playgroup for children aged 0–5 years and their families.

Through play, songs, stories, and connection, families can experience the richness of Kaurna language and culture in a welcoming and supportive environment. We recognise the importance of First Nations languages and the vital role they play in strengthening culture, identity, connection, and belonging. We are proud to support opportunities that celebrate Kaurna language and create meaningful connections for children, families and community.
What a special opportunity for families to learn, play, connect, and celebrate together.

See the flyer for upcoming introductory session dates and registration details.

Today marks the 1992 ‘native title’ Mabo decision. It recognised that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people had rights over their land and that the British did not take them over during invasion.

Mabo Day is marked annually on 3 June. It commemorates Mer Island man Eddie Koiki Mabo and his successful efforts to overturn the legal fiction of terra nullius, or ‘land belonging to no-one’.
