Regional Spelling Bee 🐝

Congratulations to our students who represented PHPS at the regional spelling bee last Friday.

They both did an amazing job and represented our school with pride, spelling some very tricky words along the way!

Choir Performance #2

This time it was our Greycliffe Choir performing at the Sydney Northwest Music Festival at the Chatswood Concourse.

Such a wonderful experience for all our students to participate in!

Thank you again to Ms Stevens for her weekly choir practices and behind the scenes organisation that allow our students to participate in these events.
Thank you also to Mrs McCloghry who accompanied the students with Ms Stevens for the performance!

It has been a busy few weeks for our choirs!

Our Ramsay Choir performed at the Sydney Opera House as part of the Festival of Choral Music.

Congratulations to the choir for their fabulous efforts and an extra special thank you to Ms Stevens for all her work in preparing and organising the choir, as well as Mr Bryant, who both gave up their day and evening to accompany the students 💙

This week is Bullying No Way Week (17-21 August) and our school is getting behind this year's theme, Small Acts, Big Impact.

Small acts of kindness really do add up. A smile, an invitation to play, standing up for a friend or simply saying hello can make someone's day and help build a school community where everyone feels safe and included.

The 3-6 interest groups started this week, with our cooking group kicking off all the fun making biscoff bliss balls!

They look delicious - I’m just left wondering where was mine!

Well done to our ex-PHPS student - love seeing how our students who have moved on to high school are excelling.

Pennant Hills High School congratulates Mathias H for proudly representing our school at the Junior Public Speaking Competition last week.
Although he narrowly missed progressing to the next round, Mathias delivered a powerful and heartfelt speech on how failure and mistakes do not define who we are. His confident stage presence, expressive body language, and engaging personal anecdotes left a lasting impression on the audience.
Mathias also impressed in the impromptu round, where his speech on the topic “No Surprises” began with an unexpected twist, a moment that showcased his quick thinking, composure, and natural strength as a speaker.
We commend Mathias for his courage, maturity, and thoughtful contribution to the competition, an achievement of which our school is incredibly proud.

Bringing together First Nations kids from across Sydney, some stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time, you showed up with courage, energy and so much pride. 🌟🖤💛❤️🌟

From those who already knew the feeling of performing, to those who were dancing in front of a crowd for the very first time — you absolutely smashed it! 🔥

We are BEYOND proud of every single one of you. What a deadly experience, what a deadly mob and what a powerful way to celebrate culture through dance. 👣
