Principal’s Report
• Term 4 – Construction work going on, D Block reopened, classes started
• B Block closed till concreting is done, Kitchen has to be accessed from a different path(backdoor through the laundry), No cooking till finished, to resume beginning of next year
• Basketball court work in progress, New layer of asphalt, Accessible pathway to be built
• D block bathrooms work in progress
• Ban on mobile phones – pouches to arrive in week 3, multiple lockers for students to access
• 180 enrolments in year 7 going to 200+, potentially 250, 2 to 3 enrolments every week
• 3 classes and teachers for support classes – 7 students per class can go up to 12, 2 additional classes, 9 students local to school
• E Block computer room is back online now
• Knox street to reopen post all work completes
• Gardens – container garden beds
• Courtyard area to have new seating
• Timber fences to be replaced by colour bond fencing. Secure school grounds
• Road rule signs outside the school
• School catchment to expand to include larger areas of westmead
