🌟 Year 1 is off to an amazing start! 🌟
With huge smiles, curious minds, terrific teamwork, and a positive can-do attitude, our Year 1 students are embracing every opportunity to learn and grow. From asking thoughtful questions to supporting one another and tackling new challenges with confidence, they have already achieved so much this year.
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, resilience, and kindness they bring to the classroom each day. And the best part? We’ve only just begun! 🚀✨
We can’t wait to see what our amazing Year 1 learners will accomplish next.

All In for National Reconciliation Week 2026
The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.
All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.
The theme also reminds us that reconciliation and advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ rights isn’t a passive activity, and it is not solely the responsibility of First Nations people, who have carried the weight of championing, explaining and acting for far too long.
Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

Students in 2 Kookaburras have been doing the work of mathematicians - collecting, categorising and analysing data by asking questions and even using LEGO! They have also LOVED making their own impressionist renditions of Starry Night (Van Gogh).

Congratulations Bayanami we are so proud of you!
Today we hosted our first Zone Carnival and thanks must first go to Mr Harris and Mr Favaloro for their magnificent organisation of the day. It was a spectacular event and they even got the weather to behave! They were supported by our wonderful Sport Leaders who were ready to do jobs before we'd even thought of them and helped with a swift tidy up of the course.
To our competitors... Just WOW!!! Amongst these fine athletes we had students who placed first, second and third place in their age race, and a number of additional students who wIll also be heading to the Regional Carnival.
Finally to our incredible parents who were the best cheer squad on the park, thank you for supporting your children and our school.
