65 out of 90. And 64.5 out of 90. The NAATI CCL pass mark is 63.

Atisha and Jyoti sat CCL Nepali together and both cleared it. Not by a landslide — and it makes no difference. CCL isn't scored on a curve and there's no prize for 80. You need 63.

We meet students every month who keep pushing their test date back because they don't feel ready for a score they don't actually need.

Asked what made the difference, both pointed at the same two things: the vocabulary lists, and the mock tests with Suresh Gajurel Sir. Vocabulary they could recall under pressure, and enough mock sittings that the real exam felt like the tenth one instead of the first.

Monday's wall has two 88s on it, and they got there by completely different routes.

Ansh scored 88 in PTE Academic — 90 in Speaking, 87 in Listening, 86 in Writing — studying online around his classes at Macquarie. Damanpreet scored 88 in PTE Core from Canada, also with a perfect 90 in Speaking, which secures her CLB 9. Different tests, different countries, same preparation.

Gurwinder took 79 with an 84 in Writing. Devanshi scored 69 with an 83 in Speaking. And the NAATI corner had a good week: Akriti passed in Nepali with 66, Adarsh in Malayalam with 64, and Laksh in Punjabi with 63. Five PR points each, one short test.

Asim and Asad both landed 61, Gurleen 59, Ramandeep 55 and Ramkumar 54 — every one of them now knows exactly which section to work on next, which is half the value of sitting the test.

And Zenab, Mohit and Yasir dropped into Parramatta to collect their results in person. Still our favourite part of any week.

Kuldeep passed NAATI CCL Urdu this week. 74 out of 90, first attempt, when 63 is the pass mark. Dialogue one: 37.5. Dialogue two: 36.5.

Instead of celebrating first, he sat down and recorded a message for his trainer — thanking her for the note-taking strategies, the dialogue practice on our portal, and the teaching that got him through. We didn't ask him to do it. He just did.

For anyone working on their PR points table: NAATI CCL is worth 5 points and it's one short test. Most people put it off far longer than they need to.

🏆 RESULTS WALL — A PERFECT 90 OUT OF 90

Navneet has done something we've never posted before: a flawless PTE Core result. 90 overall, CLB 9, with perfect 90s in Reading, Speaking and Writing and an 85 in Listening. Entirely online, from Canada. 👑

Navjot followed with 88 and CLB 8 — also three 90s. Two perfect-scoring PTE Core cards on the same board.

Dikshya took 83 in PTE Academic with a perfect 90 in Speaking and 88 in Writing. Then Pankaj and Manisha both at 68, Faysal 65, Vikramjeet 64 with an 81 in Speaking, Lakmini 61, and Gurnoor, Ashok and Kishankumar all at 56.

The NAATI CCL corner produced four passes across three languages — Ardra in Malayalam at 67.5, Anjali in Hindi at 67, Kiran Deep Kaur in Hindi at 65, and Chaitanya in Telugu at 64.5. That's 5 PR points each. 👏

Muhammad Ayan Babar cleared IELTS General Training with an overall band 7.0, including a 7.5 in Listening.

And Sankit Kalyan, Gourav and Mohit came into Parramatta to collect their results in person — still the best part of the week.
