Introducing our third “Chat with Insiders: Thrive Anywhere - Pivot Everywhere ” speaker: Damian Nguyen!

Damian is a Data Reporting Analyst at Western Sydney University and a Master of ICT graduate, whose journey reflects a thoughtful pivot from marketing into data analytics. During his time at WSU, he worked as a Casual Student Advisor, PASS Facilitator, and Data Assistant, and contributed as an ML-BIM Research Assistant on the AI-BIM Project - a collaboration between the School of CDMS and the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment.

✨Initially not planning to stay in Australia after graduation, Damian later saw the opportunity in the data field and pivoted from marketing to ICT. His journey shows how plans can evolve - and how making the most of opportunities along the way can still lead to success, regardless of where you are.

💥Tam is currently an HR Business Partner at Samsung Electronics Vietnam, overseeing the AV and D2C business. She had experience as a Samsung Z-Talent Management Trainee and previously worked as an APAC HR Intern at Abbott.

✈️After graduation, Tam chose to return to Vietnam and successfully built her career there. Her journey reflects how returning home can still open doors to global opportunities, growth, and success.
