Year 12 Turkish lesson at our Petersham Campus exploring Turkish tea and coffee culture. The students really enjoyed learning about the cultural traditions, hospitality and UNESCO heritage aspects connected to Turkish coffee and reflect the well-known Turkish proverb: ‘Bir fincan kahvenin kırk yıl hatırı vardır’ – ‘A cup of coffee is remembered for forty years.’ ☕️
