Yesterday Cheryl May from the Parndana Progress Association visited the centre to let us know that we had been selected by their committee to receive this month's 'Heartland Award'. This is given to an individual, family, business or group that has done something to improve the Parndana (Heartland) community.
The last 12months in particular have seen a major transformation in what used to be a swamp. Thankyou to everyone who has made it happen!

It was a privilege to host the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley at the new Parndana centre today. They thoroughly enjoyed the tour and hearing how important this service is for our community. Kangaroo Island Children's Services - KICS

Day 1 done!!!! 13 children attended and we had a great day. Yes there were some tears but nothing we couldn’t work through. Here’s to many more fun days ahead 😍

Another major milestone! We are so proud to see the fabulous facility finally ready to open 👏🎉

Kangaroo Island Children’s Services is very happy to announce that the Parndana Site will open on Monday the 4th of March. We are looking forward to seeing you enjoy the centre.

We were proud to receive the Australian Day Project of the Year award at the Australia Day Ceremony in Kingscote this morning. Thanks to Mardi Lacey for the nomination (a snippet is attached) and a HUGE thankyou to you, the community for all your support through this process.
We can’t wait to see all the children, families & educators enjoying the space soon.

Thankyou to everyone who donated slices, biscuits, muffins and scrolls and to those legends who volunteered their time for our catering job today. It was a great day and everyone seemed to enjoy the food 🤩😀

We are excited to share that we have been awarded ‘Project of the Year’, at the upcoming Kangaroo Island Council Australia Day Awards.

What an honour for our Governing Council to receive this accolade for our project. We would like to congratulate all other award recipients for their outstanding contributions to our community.

✨Volunteers Needed✨

The PCCC will be running a food and drink stall at the Bennett’s Clearing Sale.
Thursday 14th December
1342 Rowland Hill Hwy, Seddon

We need some donations of slices, biscuits and cupcakes. If you are able to bake any of these, please contact Kate Murray to arrange a time to drop off.

We also need 2 volunteers per hour to man the stall. Please comment below if you are able to help out!

As we have limited parking onsite we ask that you please go inside the Parndana Sports Club gates and park to the right of the goal posts.
