Hey everyone, we have some exciting news! The university has now approved on-campus events to resume this semester, so ISLA will be able to start holding in person events again in the coming weeks! Sign up as a member now to be invited to our events - we'll be holding a free lunch before the semester finishes!

With some COVID-safe restrictions still in place, you must be signed up as a member to attend our events so that we have everybody's details for contact tracing and can monitor numbers for upcoming events. Sign up online at the below link!

Hey guys, for anybody who is interested ReelOzInd is holding an online screening today at 4pm (AEDT). ReelOzInd is an annual short film competition that aims to bring together Indonesian and Australian filmmakers. This year's theme for the films is 'Energy'.

ISLA usually holds a pop-up screening of the winning films, but this year the whole event is being held online! Tune in here at 4pm today to watch the short films:

Hi everybody, hope you are all doing well in these strange times! This has been a tough year for everyone and unfortunately for ISLA this has meant we haven't been able to be very active. But, it is almost that time of the year again for us to hold our AGM and elect a new committee, so if you're interested in keeping ISLA alive and reviving the club for a much better year next year, consider applying for a committee position! The positions to be filled are: President, Secretary, Treasurer and Education Officer, as well as 3 x general committee positions. We will be sending out further details of the AGM to our members in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Unfortunately due to directives from the university, all club activities from 18th March onward need to be cancelled or postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. This means that ISLA will not be holding our Jam Ngobrol session that was scheduled for this Thursday 19th March, and will not be able to hold any future events until further notice. If the situation changes, we will notify members via email and on our page, so keep an eye out for any further news!
