•LIFE UPDATE•

I’m still here 👋🏼
Life has been absolutely hectic! Last year I took on working full time, which I absolutely loved! However as a mum of 4, running 2 businesses and life itself, I knew I was losing myself and needed to pull back. So here we are 2025, I have dropped back to three days, sparing two days to help my husband (that’s right we got married!) and of course you guys!

I absolutely cannot wait to get back into my sleep consulting, it is my favourite thing ever! It is so fulfilling watching sleep deprived parents fill their sleep cup back up and of course watch those bubbas thrive on the sleep they need!

I will be back posting useful tips, tricks and maybe some sneaky discounts so follow along!

Okay mamas call me bias but I’m sure you would all agree that one thing we would die for, for Mother’s Day is to get more sleep!

Here’s your chance!
Tag those hubby’s to purchase a gift voucher just in time for Mother’s Day so you can get the sleep you deserve! And look he can have his non-sleep deprived partner back, it’s a win win (this is how we bribe them 😉)

You’ll feel like a new women in no time! ✨

Comforters are the next best thing when us mamas aren’t in arms reach!

This could be a teddy, blanket, toy etc. These are perfect for bubs to have for comfort when they are sleeping independently and can help soothe themselves back to sleep.

Are you trying to achieve independent sleep for your little one and wondering how to help them attach to a comforter?
Here’s some tips ⬇️
- pop the comforter in your top for a while giving it your scent that will help bub associate it with you
- Involve the comforter in feeds and playtime
- For older bubs, mimic their bedtime routine with their comforter. For example pop a teddy in some pjs, pretend to brush its teeth and tuck it into bed with them.

According to the SIDS guidelines it is recommended that these are only left alone in bubs crib from 7 months of age.

What does your little one use as a comforter? 🌙

Self care is not selfish!
Always take time for yourself if you can. Personally I like to clean the house, binge a series or take a nap 😆
What do you do for self care?

Sometimes they truely just need a cuddle, a pat on the bottom, a song sang by mama or even a rock.. sometimes their little world is just too much and they need us, and that’s okay!

Tonight was one of those nights for our little miss two. She did an extra day in daycare today, she’s learning & growing in full speed at the moment it honestly brings tears to my eyes and she must be really feeling it. I popped her into bed and she looks at me and says “mummy you no please leave me”, and for a little girl that self soothes every night and has done since she was a newbie I KNEW tonight was one of those nights that she needed extra cuddles and a rock to get off to sleep and I am okay with that!

I’m not saying you need to rock/cuddle your baby off to sleep every single night (unless of course you want to), but I am saying it’s okay to have off nights, we all have them, even as adults. Give them that extra TLC, I promise it won’t ruin all your hard work. We got this 💕

They say “all good things come to an end” and I believe that’s exactly how us parents feel when their little one is ready to drop their nap completely 😆
What are the signs they are ready? ⬇️
- They are approximately 2.5-4 years old (this varies from child to child).
- Bedtime is becoming a battle when they are having a nap during the day.
- Their naps are 45 mins or less, and/or are consistently missing naps.
- They are early rising or consistently waking during the night.

If you think this is your little one, here are some tips to make the transition just a little bit easier!
- Have quiet time instead! Let their little brains and bodies have a rest by reading some books, listening to some calming music, doing puzzles or simply playing quietly.
-Don’t force the nap, if they don’t appear tired, let them have quiet time and bring their bedtime forward.
-Expect there to be ups and downs, some days they may need a nap and others they won’t, read their cues and know that every day is different for their little bodies while they make this transition.

What age did your little one drop their nap?

You are what they need,You are their world,You know them best,You are enough.Remember it mama 💕
