🌭 Thank You! 🌭

A huge thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who helped make our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle such a success, and to everyone who stopped by to buy a sausage and support Parkdale Preschool.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the many community members who signed our petition calling for repairs to the laneway in Alameda Place. Your support helps us advocate for a safer and more accessible space for our families.

It was a fantastic day filled with community spirit, smiles and plenty of sausages. Thank you for helping make it such a success! 💙

🌭🔥 Bunnings Sausage Sizzle this Sunday! 🔥🌭

Parkdale Preschool will be hosting a sausage sizzle at Bunnings Mentone tomorrow, Sunday 31 May, and we’d love your support.

With a chilly 15-degree day forecast, make sure you stop by, warm up and treat yourself to a sausage with onions and all the sauces while supporting our kinder community.

🌊🐋 This week, our Banksia and Waratah groups enjoyed a visit from Melbourne Museum's Ocean Wonders program.

Through hands-on exploration of real objects from the museum's collection, the children discovered more about marine life and the importance of caring for our oceans. They were fascinated to touch a real shark tooth, examine a turtle shell and get up close to whale bones!

We loved seeing their curiosity and wonder as they explored, asked questions and discovered more about the amazing creatures that call our oceans home. 💙

✨ A huge thank you to our amazing parent community! ✨

This weekend, around 15 wonderful parent volunteers came together to refresh and maintain our kinder yard. From tackling a big list of jobs to moving three cubic metres of sand through the building to top up our sandpit — it was a true team effort! 💪

Thanks to your time and energy, our outdoor space is looking fresh, inviting, and ready for lots of play, exploration, and learning.

As we get ready for our upcoming Open Day on Sunday 3 May, it means so much to be able to showcase a space that reflects the care and pride of our community. 💛
