Logan Libraries have got some fantastic sessions coming up that the community will really enjoy and benefit from. Presented by Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Melissa Savonoff these free sessions are for parents/carers helping children in the early years and lower to mid-primary school. Another fantastic turnout for our annual Pancake Day yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came along. It’s always such a lovely reminder of the wonderful community we’re part of — seeing past and present families come together to share a morning of delicious pancakes, laughter, and great conversation. Events like this highlight the connections we’ve built over the years and the sense of belonging that makes our community so special.

It’s that time of year again!
We’re excited to invite all our families—past and present—to our annual Pancake Day at the centre on Tuesday, 17 February.

From 6:30am to 9:30am, we’ll be cooking up delicious pancakes for anyone who’d like to join us. A selection of beverages, including tea and coffee, will also be available. Come along and enjoy breakfast on us. You’re welcome to eat here or grab your pancakes to take away.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s your usual day or not—everyone is welcome. It’s always a wonderful morning and a great chance for families and educators to catch up.

The Circle of Security Parenting program is an internationally recognised, relationship-based early intervention program designed to enhance attachment security between parents and children. We have had this fantastic program at our centre for the last 17 years and we are looking forward to another great year with our Miss Physi - Teesh. We have limited vacancies in our 2.5 to 3.5 year age group if you are interested :)

Today we say farewell to Kelly, who has been part of our service for nearly 14 years. Starting as a relief educator, she worked tirelessly to grow her skills, completing her studies and stepping into the role of Lead Educator.

Throughout her journey, she has cared for and guided countless children—especially in our babies and kindy rooms—bringing patience, knowledge, and compassion to every day. Her impact on families, colleagues, and the children in her care will be remembered for years to come.

We thank Kelly for her commitment and the many contributions she has made during her time with us. We wish her all the very best in the next chapter of her journey. 💐

What's Christmas without having Bec and Ivan from Itty Bitty Stars come and share their Christmas Wonderland with us? The children had a blast as they travelled to faraway places to help save Christmas. After lots of singing and dancing to power up the Octotron machinge they were triumphant and rewarded with making it snow for real!

The Preschoolers had a big adventure today as we headed to Lone Pine for an excursion. They were so excited and they loved seeing all the animals. They got to feed the kangaroos, meet and pat Hamlet the Koala and so much more. Thank you to all the parents who came along and helped out today as well. I'm sure there will be some sleepy preschoolers tonight :)
