An excerpt from our Schola Cantorum's concert last Saturday at the wonderful St Brigid's church. The concert programme was designed in honour of Palestrina's 500th birthday, and demonstrated the direct link between his polyphony and ancient Gregorian chant. Here the Schola sings the Good Friday hymn in honour of the Holy Cross, Vexilla Regis, followed by Palestrina's setting of the 6th verse "O Crux Ave".

Schola Cantorum: 2025 End of Year Concert
Our Schola Cantorum will hold its annual end of year concert on Saturday 29 November, 6pm, in St Brigid's Church, 78 Musgrave Road, Red Hill. All families and friends of the school community are welcome to attend. Entry is free; however, donations to the Schola fund are most welcome.

On Wednesday 15th October, a little flock of Year 1 students made their First Confessions – and their souls were filled with grace. It was a big step for them in the Catholic Faith, and students displayed their love for Our Lord with all their hearts. One could even say, it seems as though they were glowing.
To remember this special occasion, our students were all given a little white heart, a keep sake and reminder of how special their souls are.

Thank you to Fr. Mwangi and our Parents for helping students to be well prepared, and all are now looking forward to their First Communion Day.
