Parklands Christian College Helping students become all that God wants them to be... Our College commenced in January 2001 in functional facilities provided by Parklands Christian Church.

Each year we continue to grow in student numbers, class levels offered, facilities and resources. We see the day when over 1200 students will come on our site each day. The College is divided up into 7 areas, these being: Little Learners Early Learning Centre (6 weeks – school age), Lower Primary (Prep-3), Upper Primary (4-6), Middle School (7-9), Senior College (10-12) and Outside School Hours Ca

re (Prep – 12). We believe we can provide a suitable foundation upon which your children can grow, and we look forward to meeting with you to discuss this further.

URAWA LUTHERAN HOMESTAY | 🇯🇵 Celebrating Our Japanese Homestay Students! 🇯🇵

We recently celebrated our visiting students from Urawa Lutheran College with a special certificate ceremony and morning tea to recognise their time with us.

As part of the celebration, the students performed ‘Jesus Loves Me, Yes, I Know’ in both Japanese and English, and also presented a speech in English; a wonderful display of their confidence and willingness to share with our community. 🎶👏

It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate the friendships, experiences and memories they’ve made during their stay at Parklands. 💙

To finish the morning, our students were presented with a very Australian keepsake; a koala to take home! 🐨

A big thank you to our wonderful homestay families and staff for helping make their experience so welcoming and memorable.

We hope our friends from Urawa Lutheran College return to Japan with plenty of wonderful memories of their time at Parklands! ✨🇯🇵

We’re currently seeking:

🍫 Chocolate bars — 13–28 August
🧁 Baked goods — 26–28 August
🏠 Secondhand homewares — 13–28 August

📍 Drop-off: Student Services

A few important guidelines:

🧁 Baked goods
• Please include a full list of ingredients
• All baked goods must be packaged and ready for sale

🏠 Secondhand homewares
• Items must be clean, in good condition and usable
• Due to health, safety and storage regulations, we cannot accept:
• White goods (fridges, freezers, washing machines)
• Electrical items (anything with a plug or battery)
• Clothing or footwear
• Bedding and linen (sheets, blankets, pillows)

Our Secondary Book Week Parade had a very special surprise when the Power Rangers took to the stage for an epic dance performance! 🎶🕺

With plenty of energy, creativity and some seriously impressive moves, they certainly knew how to entertain! What a fun and clever way to celebrate Book Week and bring some superhero spirit to the day. 📚✨

BOOK WEEK | Secondary Book Week Parade! ✨📚

What a wonderful celebration of books, creativity and individuality at our Secondary Book Week Parade! From clever character choices to impressive costumes, there was an incredible variety of ideas and a whole lot of effort on display.

It was fantastic to see our students embracing the opportunity to celebrate the unique way God made each of us, with creativity, confidence and plenty of fun along the way! 💙

And of course, we couldn’t forget a very special dance performance from the Power Rangers! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️ Their performance certainly brought some extra energy to the parade!

A huge well done to all our students for their creativity, cleverness and enthusiasm. You certainly made Book Week one to remember! 📖👏✨

SECONDARY SPORTS ASSEMBLY | On Friday we gathered for our Secondary Sports Assembly to celebrate some outstanding achievements and look ahead to an exciting year of sport in 2027!

We took the opportunity to celebrate our recent Athletics Carnival, recognising our record breakers and Age Champions, before announcing our overall House Champion.

A huge congratulations to Joshua House, who claimed the Athletics Carnival House Championship!

We also shared an exciting update about the future of sport at Parklands, announcing that we’ll be participating in the Independent Schools Championships (ISC) in 2027.

The ISC will provide our Secondary students with the opportunity to participate in weekly inter-school competition across a range of sports, creating more regular opportunities to represent Parklands throughout the year. We’re excited about what this will bring to our sporting program in 2027!

Congratulations again to all of our athletes, award winners and Joshua House. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead for Parklands Sport in 2027!
