✨ Pajama Day Fun! ✨

What an incredibly cosy and joy-filled day we had celebrating Pajama Day!

Students and staff rocked their comfiest PJs, filling the day with giggles, big smiles, and lots of fun across the school (though some staff are camera shy...) 😴

We are so proud of our students for filling up the PBIS tubes and consistently showing our school values of respect, responsibility, and relationships when earning them. It was wonderful to see these values on display throughout the day!

We'd also like to thank our fantastic Parents & Friends Committee for hosting the first coffee corner this afternoon! ☕

👕 Pajama Day
Students are invited to wear their comfy PJs to school and bring in slippers or UGG boots to wear in the classroom.

Please remember to pack comfortable shoes for recess and lunch.

☕ The Coffee Corner – Our First One!
Join us from 2:30–3:30pm at the silver benches near Curiosity for our very first Coffee Corner, hosted by the Parents & Friends Committee.

Come along, grab a hot drink and have a chat!

♻️ Recycling Superstar! ♻️

We’re so proud to celebrate our Year 2 student Thomas, who has shown outstanding initiative by bringing in an amazing 300 cans for recycling this morning!

For every 10c can collected, Thomas earned a token for the PBIS Tubes. His fantastic contribution is helping our students move closer to achieving their goal of a whole-school Pajama Day this Friday! 🤩

Thomas has truly demonstrated our Respect and Responsibility school values by caring for the environment and taking initiative. His thoughtful actions reflect respect for our planet and responsibility for helping our wonderful school community succeed.

Well done Thomas, you should be incredibly proud of yourself!

✨ Reconciliation in Action ✨

Our students embraced National Reconciliation Week with curiosity, respect, and open hearts, engaging in meaningful activities that deepened their understanding of Australia’s shared history and the importance of reconciliation.

From exploring First Nations cultures to reflecting on the themes of connection, respect, and unity, it was wonderful to see such thoughtful learning in action.

A huge thank you to our wonderful teacher Miss Yeend for her incredible effort in organising such engaging activities and resources for our students - your dedication made it truly special for our students! 🫶

🌟 A Wonderful First Visit! 🌟

This morning we were delighted to welcome our newest little learners for their very first Reception Transition visit!

Students had the opportunity to meet their teachers, Miss Leanne and Ms Braiotta, and began exploring their new learning environment.

Parents and caregivers also had time to connect with staff, learn more about daily schedules, routines, and other important information to help prepare for the year ahead.

We’re so proud of how confidently our future Reception students stepped into this new experience - it was such a wonderful start to their school journey!

We can't wait to see everyone again at the next visit! ✨

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝗙𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿!

We’re excited to be partnering with the South Australian government to deliver Flying Start, a 3-year-old preschool program designed to strengthen the quality and equity of early learning.

Flying Start preschool will be available at our service from 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.

Children who turn 3 years old before 30 April can start preschool in Term 1.
Children who turn 3 years old before 31 October can start preschool in Term 3.

Focused on age-appropriate, play-based learning the program will be led by a qualified early childhood teacher.

The program follows the Early Years Learning Framework and is designed to strengthen children’s development.

As a partner service, we have access to more support and training for our teachers and educators, and extra help for the children and families where it’s needed most.
