🚌 Adelaide Metro Bus Travel Reminder
Many of our students travel to and from school using Adelaide Metro bus services. We would like to remind families that this is not a free service, and students are required to validate their MetroCARD each time they board a bus.
Adelaide Metro has advised us that a number of students are not currently validating their cards. If this trend continues, they may review the additional school bus service that currently operates along Shepherdson Road. This would significantly impact many students who rely on this service to travel home conveniently.
We ask families to please ensure their child has a MetroCARD and understands the importance of validating it every time they travel. This not only helps maintain access to valuable transport services but also supports our shared goal of developing respectful, responsible and positive young citizens.
Thank you for your support.

On Wednesday evening, our star Mathletes participated in the Maths Olympics against 9 other schools from across the northern suburbs.
We had a great turnout of 20 students, making up 3 senior school and 2 middle school teams who competed for mathematical glory in 5 challenging rounds covering a range of topics.
Our senior boys, Kohav, Mohammad, Japsimran, and Hasnin, were crowned champions, bringing home a gold medal! Congratulations to all competitors for their determination and team spirit.

Last Thursday, Parafield Gardens High School proudly hosted a fantastic Badminton Day Carnival, bringing together students from a range of schools for a day full of energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship!
It was great to see students competing with enthusiasm, supporting one another, and representing their schools so positively throughout the day. A huge congratulations to all teams and players who participated and helped create such a successful event.
Thank you to our staff, student helpers, officials, and visiting schools for contributing to an enjoyable and well-run carnival. We look forward to continuing to grow badminton opportunities for our students in the future!

Our two Senior Futsal Teams represented the school with pride and determination yesterday. The girls showed great effort, teamwork and persistence across all of their matches, continuing to compete at a high level and support each other from start to finish. Our boys also fought extremely well, displaying strong skills, resilience and composure under pressure to qualify for the State Final in Week 8. A fantastic effort from both teams.
Thank you to Mr Crilley and Mr Michael for your continued support and belief in our students, and encouraging them to achieve their personal best :)

For everyone's safety, students are reminded that they cannot ride bikes or scooters through school grounds - please walk them to the lock up facility.
Families, please support your child to be aware of South Australian Personal Mobility Device (e-bike and e-scooter) laws: https://www.sa.gov.au/topics/driving-and-transport/cycling/motorised-wheeled-recreational-devices
We have had reports from the wider community that there has been risky behaviour outside of school grounds. Please ride safely everyone.
