🦘🐨 Preschool & Transition Excursion to Potoroo Palace! 🐍🦜
Our Preschool and Transition children recently enjoyed a wonderful day out at Potoroo Palace Animal Sanctuary, where they had the opportunity to connect with nature and learn all about Australia's amazing native wildlife.
Throughout the day, the children explored the beautiful sanctuary, met a variety of Australian animals, and discovered how we can all play a role in protecting and caring for our precious wildlife. A highlight of the excursion was the exciting animal encounter with a zoo keeper, where the children were able to learn fascinating facts and see some incredible animals up close. They also loved taking a ride on the sanctuary train, adding even more excitement to an already memorable day!
After a morning full of adventure, everyone enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch prepared by our wonderful cook, Rae, before continuing to explore the sanctuary.
Experiences like these help extend the children's learning beyond the classroom, encouraging curiosity, respect for the environment, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces, thoughtful questions, and growing confidence throughout the day.
