📚✨ Celebrating Book Week – A Symphony of Stories! ✨📚

Today we celebrated Book Week with our children under five, Family Day Care educators and their children.

In line with this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories,” we brought together different voices, art, creativity and tales, creating a morning where stories truly came to life!

We loved seeing characters step out of the pages of their favourite books and join us for a morning full of imagination, laughter and fun.

From sharing books and storytelling, to creating artwork and designing fun, colourful food platters, the morning was all about promoting literacy in its many different forms.

A beautiful reminder that literacy is so much more than reading a book, it can be found through art, conversation, creativity, food, play and shared experiences.

What a wonderful Symphony of Stories we created together!

Last week was Early Learning matters week and I had the pleasure of attending Kentish Early Learning Centre, Big Rivers and hanging out with the little people for awhile.

What a way to fill your cup listening to the amazing stories, questions and have them tell you about their siblings🤣. A lot of laughs and funny stories.

Thank you so much to the incredible hard working staff and the care and dedication they give the little ones. Thank you Mandavi for your time.

A huge shoutout to the team from Kentish Community Services who donated an absolute mountain of sausages and burgers to keep everyone fed well into the night at the Larrakia Nation BBQ during yesterday’s Danila Dilba Family Day – Supported by INPEX Australia.
