Last week at Cluster Day, students had the opportunity to walk the Purling Brook Falls Circuit in Springbrook National Park.

The views of the waterfall were spectacular, and students were rewarded with some incredible scenery along the way, including a beautiful rainbow over the falls.

It was a fantastic day outdoors, exploring one of the Gold Coast Hinterland’s most iconic locations.

As we approach the end of term, flu season can still impact student attendance.

Simple steps such as regular handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes, and staying home when unwell can help keep our school community healthy.

If your child is sick, please let the school know so we can support their learning while they recover.

Thank you for helping us keep our students and staff healthy throughout the winter months.

Congratulations to Lacey on being named in the Queensland 2026 Under 19s Women's State of Origin squad.

Lacey, captain of our Open SGC side, becomes the first PBC Reds Girls Rugby League SPX student to be selected in the Queensland Under 19s Women's State of Origin team, a significant milestone for both Lacey and our program.

Lacey will take on New South Wales this tonight at North Sydney Oval, with kick-off scheduled for 5:45pm and televised live on Qplus TV.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and wish Lacey all the best as she represents Queensland on one of Rugby League's biggest stages.

With State of Origin on tonight, we brought the rivalry to campus today with a staff BBQ filled with plenty of team spirit and friendly banter. 🏉

Blue and maroon were well represented as everyone got into the Origin mood ahead of the big game.
