Our Lakeside students did us proud at last week’s Interschool Chess Competition, showing great skill, teamwork and sportsmanship. Organisers and even other schools praised how encouraging our students were, a true reflection of our College values.

This month, our students have taken part in hands‑on cultural learning experiences facilitated by First Nations presenters, and today we gathered for a special Reconciliation Week Chapel.

This year’s theme, All In, encourages us to listen, learn, and walk together with purpose.

Across Prep–Year 12, students have explored story, culture, music, art, and truth‑telling through a range of immersive incursions and workshops.

Grounded in God’s reconciling love in Christ, our staff are also engaging with LEVNT devotions throughout the week as we continue this shared journey.

We’re grateful for the learning, the listening, and the commitment to reconciliation across our community.

We’re thrilled to invite our Lakeside families to this year’s Scholastic Book Fair. This is a fantastic opportunity to encourage a love of reading while also helping us raise funds for our school library. Every purchase makes a difference.

Thank you to everyone who joined our wonderful Mother’s Day Breakfast on Friday.

We shared flowers, great food, and plenty of cups of tea as more than 260 guests filled our Senior School building ☕🍰🌸.

🎉 Celebrating 20 Years of Lakeside College 🎉

This time last week, we marked a truly special milestone in the life of our College community: 20 years of learning, growth and God’s faithfulness.

With many special guests at our all‑school service, it was a joy to capture this moment with Past Principal Mr Thomas Brennen, Current Principal Mr Robert Tassoni, and our 2026 College Captains, standing together as a symbol of where we’ve come from, who we are today, and the bright future ahead.

From our humble beginnings to a thriving community of more than 660 learners, Lakeside College has been shaped by the dedication of its leaders, the passion of its staff, and the unwavering support of our families. As we celebrate this milestone, we give thanks for all the people who have shaped our journey and continue to inspire us to Learn, Care and Achieve together.
